Since I´m neither, I have no idea......but when I joined ESB was very surprising to see how many Brits this place has.....

As a whole ESB is mostly British it seems......and clearly mostly european.

General is the only section I´m not sure of this.......but even the Lounge is mostly British, I did a poll there once in a thread and the numbers were:

    Brits - 46.75%
    Americans- 31.82%

    Others:
    Europeans, but not british- 14.94%
    Latin Americans- 9.09%
    Canadians- 7.14%
Others like Australians and Asians, etc are few.....

So, if we put all the brits and the other europeans together.....ESB is 60% European. Which is also surprising since this site is in english. This shows a lot how Europe is big on Boxing nowadays.

    With that said.......
Fans of all countries, can you say in what place Boxing is More Popular nowadays in your view......
    EUROPE or USA ????

I´m very interested on this. Cheers :good

Looks like theres more fighter in europe that can sell out stadium. I think its way more popular in europe. America is butthurt with boxing, they need a HW icon.

Mexico. They love the sport and they pay attention to all weight divisions and not just the ones with hyped up fighters

Probably America because I think that's where the majority of PPV comes from. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think Europe has a better "grassroots" boxing scene. They have much better local support for boxers who aren't necessarily even world class guys, or even fighting at the world class level. But overall, it's probably about the same.

wrong. the only time americans give a **** about boxing is only when Mayweather or Pacquiao is fighting. your average joe couldnt name another current boxer besides Bhop or something.

Europe isn't a country like the USA. Boxing is illegal in some countries here and the interest in the sport varies massively from country to country.

It isnt much popular at either place.

In Europe probably 98% of the people dodnt even know who Pac or Floyd are.

From all the travels i made throughout europe that was the case.

The only fighter everyone seems to know is retired.

And with no surprise its Mike Tyson.

My pick would be USA , there are only a few countries in europe where boxing does well ( UK , Germany ) over here in Holland there are only a few fans ( 99% don,t know to name any of the world champs ) they think Tyson is still hw champion !! ( no joke )
