Neither have really fought the best, and most dangerous fights available, but we all know boxing doesn't work like that. . .

I'd break it down like this: Floyd gets more credit for Mosley, and Hatton. Pac gets more credit for Cotto, and Marquez.

As far as oppoenents they don't have in common: I'd say Bradley > Ortiz, and Clottey > Ortiz. The Clottey win is really sch an underrated win, because nobody has ever came close to shutting Clottey out like Pacquiao did.

Really, it's quite similar for both of them. . . They both need to STFU and fight each other, or fight more dangerous opposition.

most biased thread ever. take ur **** out of floyds ass. You just credited cotto as the best win of his career as margarito, who do you think busted that eye a year before, yet you said this about Margarito "coming off a loss to mosley"

Mayweather blagged a ko against a joke Ortiz
Cotto won more rounds against floyd (the boxer) than he did against pacquiao who stopped him. Mayweather even lost a round or two to Hatton when Pac blew him out the water in 2 rounds. Pac stopped de la hoya, Floyd won a very close SD. Pac won 36 rounds in a row against clottey, margo and mosley. hell Mosley was a hedgehogs pube away from knocking Mayweather out, he was doing the chicken dance in there. I dont even think pac has been hurt in his last 15 fights.

So you're saying that Pac should get more credit than Floyd should for beating:
A Hatton who already had been dominated and KO'ed by Floyd
A Mosley that Floyd already had schooled
A De La Hoya who was weight drained
A Cotto who was weight drained too

    Is that what you're saying?

Im not saying that no. but the thread is embarrassingly biased. i'd say just Floyd but u cant disregard pacs entire resume.
At the time Hatton v Pacquiao was a big fight in which many believed hatton would win. Floyd was retired.
Mosley- there was threads upon threads on here saying if Mosley catches Pacquiao like he did Mayweather then he'll knock pacman out. as it happened Pac dominated him.
De la hoya was the cash cow, promoter and fighter, he made that ****ing fight you couldnt expect paquiao to come up from 135lbs to 154lbs in 1 fight thats 3 weight classes.
Cotto weight drained have a ****ing day off it was 1 lb and there was thousands who thought he would ko pacquiao. you just made up he was weight drained, cotto after the fight went on record to say there were no problems with the weight.

Even though the truth is stated up above, Pac fans will forever deny Floyd being the better fighter until these two actually fight. On paper all is already proven. Should these two never fight and Floyd continue his undefeated reign until he retires, there's should be no doubt which fighter was the better fighter between the two. FMJr.

Who gives a **** about fmj or pac ?.... they are a disgrace to the sport & I cannot believe I lived thru their era, the era or hype & bull****... at least I`m content knowing that although it was the fans that were denied a golden one-off fight from 2009-11, it will be those scummy *******s that will forever regret it in years to come, when they are retired & too old to fight, they will be kicking themselves to death knowing that they let a one-off mega fight pass them by.

As a boxing fan, I will never forgive either for disgracing this sport like that, I`m glad that ****** is in jail & I hope he loses to anyone but pacquiao when he gets out... as for pac, I`m glad he lost to Bradley, he`s a ragged, overrated ***** that does not belong with the ATGs, **** both of them.

This is a Biased Thread. Damn just give credit to both fighters!
Don't be hating on a LITTLE Filipino boxer just because he fights in the BIG stage and winning titles. Just give credit that's all.

2 of them are Pac leftovers?

You mean the weight drained Cotto who Floyd fought at a more comfortable weight?
Or the JMM who soundly beat Pac?
