That would have been ****ing insane. I like Mayorga's speed and iron chin in this one. Hit harder too IMO

Great fight! Rounds 1-5 will be a slug fest but i have to give it to Margarito who has more of an Iron chin! Late TKO by Margarito.

Margarito UD/late TKO. Mayorga will win a fewq early rounds, but he doesn't have the skill or stamina to keep the pace Margarito will set. Nor does he have a vast punch selection in his repertoire. I think Margarito's body attack does too much damage.

I think Margarito based on a superior chin but without the wraps does he still have enough power to hurt el matador? Who the **** knows. Would have been high quality carnage for sure though.

I really don't think he hurts Mayorga. Forrest unloaded huge bombs to the head and body on Mayorga and Mayorga hardly flinched. Margarito was also as slow as molasses. Mayo was much faster

Margarito is an accomplished body attacker, Mayo's chin might hold up, but not his ribs. And Mayo got to set the pace vs. Forrest, who fought scared. Margarito wouldn't fight that way. He fights with aggression and is relentless with his punches. Mayorga gets dragged into a dogfight trying to match Margarito, and there's his downfall.

I hear you but think Margaritos relentless pace would catch up with ricardo as mayorga woulddn't fight a smart fight. Can you ever imagine him willingly allow someone to out tough him? Especially a guy like tony who would have given him just as much abuse back in the pressers building up.

Mayorga in his Prime actually had good boxing skills. He threw decently straight punches, kept his hands up, and had okay movement. Don't be fooled by the amateur Mayorga you have been seeing in the past few years. See the 'Six Heads' Lewis fight and Forrest I fight as reference.

No way Mayorga would allow Margarito to push him back he would match him in strength and power. I think he would probably catch Margarito in between slow punches with his monster left hook/uppercut and stun him. Mosley was able to attack very successfully against a supposedly 'prime' Margarito. Mayorga would attack more, al though with less precision.

I see Mayorga pulling out the win here, Margarito's power is probably a myth and only due to illegal wraps he was using and I don't believe he could get Mayarga's respect. Prime Mayorga didn't have stamina issues either.

    Mayorga late Stoppage

He held his own aainst Spinks too and would have won if it wasn't for that BS point deduction. I've no reason to believe Margarito beats up prime 147 lb Mayorga.

I don't think wraps would make a difference against Mayorga. Mayorga wins.

Prime Mayorga would be too much for Margo. I think he stops Margo late in a war.
