He's training hard and getting his weight down-dont expect miracles-but running 6 miles every morning and doing great cardio work.Sparring season will start soon.I'll have more info next monday.Maybe pictures.
hopefully the 6 miles and his knee cooperate, id like to see what he can do after the Vitali disaster
Great news. I have a soft spot for Olympic gold winners and amateur stars. Something in me really wants them to succeed. I wish Solis the best, he has a real talent he needs to showcase.
yep, he is with Diaz( who is currently in Canada with Pascal). Solis is in good spirits and he knows he's been blessed by recovering from such a freak injure. His last fight against Airich was just a test for his knee.He wasnt even 70% ready. He should be fighting Pulev in september if everything works out fine.By then he should be in better form. Then he can take on Adamek and finally Wladimir.I believe he beats Pulev and Adamek but as much as i like him cant say the same about Wlad.
Hopefully the tourney with Solis, Adamek, Pulev and Ustinov happens, pending the latter two signing the paper work. It's really good quality names in there. I'd also like to see Haye and either Price/Fury be thrown into that mix.
My thoughts. Cycle would be a good first step for the cardio. Or stair stepper. Anything but high impact stuff like road work until the knee is in good shape.
