Not to me...I really don't think he's that good at all, at least in terms of talent & he no where near the fighter his father was...but he has improved...fought decent competition, hungry to prove himself & exciting to watch...I know that Martinez overall is better...but I'm will be rooting for JCC Jr...

    Good post, brother..:good

difference is that video u posted is after a vargas fight not when mosley was top of p4p ie after the first de la hoya fight. When the video was posted mosley was standing aside for oscar to fight floyd anyhow. Mayweather seemed to wait til mosley was past it to give him a fight anyhow.

also at the time of the video floyd wasnt **** as regards to ppv numbers which he reaped from that de la hoya bout being in the spotlight for 24/7 etc. exactly what roy jones said in the hbo broadcast that would be a dumb fight for either oscar or shane to take as they would have nothing to gain and everything to lose from the fight

Which reason is it then for why Mosley didn't fight Floyd?

Was it because he was not (s**t ) a draw? or because Mayweather seemed to wait til mosley was past it to give him a fight anyhow....or because Mosley stepped aside for Oscar to fight Floyd?

    Your contridicting yourself.

I think the fact Mosely wouldn't fight Floyd when he was the big name and Floyd was trying to become a big name, meant that when the roles were reversed he felt that why should he gave Mosley a big pay day when he didn't do the same.

whats crazy is, i don't remember such a demand for mosley when he was actually good.

When he was old and done, he was getting big money fights left right and centre. Everyone wanted a piece.

What the **** has Peter Quillin done to deserve a title shot? :patsch

He says everyone avoids him but then turns down a title fight with Golovkin.:rofl

Anyway, Martinez deserves a big payday, but to compare him to Mosley? WTF? Mosley was badly shot when he cashed himself out - his performance against Pacquiao was honestly a disgrace. Martinez is still winning fights, the undisputed champ of 160lbs, and ranked in the top 3 P4P by most people.

    Don't agree with the OP.

I'm just annoyed that Martinez has come in the strong favourite with the bookies :(

I was hoping to get decent odds on him so I can collect big when he wins.

Looks like the bookies don't agree with the fan boys.

He weighed 171 against Dzinzurik. He's been trying to cut the weight off slowly and has looked rather average against eurobums in his last two fights. he can't make 154 comfortably.

I wouldn't call Macklin or Barker eurobums, Sturm in most peoples opinions was beat by Macklin and Zbik had a close fight with Chavez yet was stopped by Sturm.

Martinez is the draw, who's been on hbo longer, while chavez fighting guys on fox sports, martinez wanted the fight ages ago and he was suppose to fight chavez right after zbik.Funny how all of a sudden people say martinez is scared and all that when martinez is the one that's been campaigning to fight him. After the fight don't blame jr,just blame sr because he's rushing his son to a early career.

ugh...your threads are dull and boring...please get some new material...i get it, you're terrified for Floyd's health, ect...don't worry, he'll never man up and fight Sexy at 154, you're safe...
