Apparently, Schaeffer will look to pursue this fight should Guerrero beat Aydin. If Guerrero looks impressive in that fight, I think this could be a good fight. Guerrero is a technically sound fighter, he's a little bigger than Mayweather, he's a lefty and he would be Mayweather's mando. This isn't an ideal fight but I think it would be a good one , all things considered.
There was a lot of talk about this fight awhile back and it didn't happen but with Khan and Ortiz losing and Berto being caught on PEDs there is many non Top rank fighters who have a big name for Floyd to fight outside of Martinez and Alverez. It is more likely to happen.
Guerrero needs to fight someone on a higher level. I agree he'd make a good fight but he wouldn't sell or give any credibility having never fought anyone outstanding at that weight. Brook, Bradley, Malignaggi, or Alexander first. I just don't see him getting a shot with his only welterweight fight being Selcuk ****ing Aydin. But Guerrero is good and has a tough style.
