Another tag team boxing fan - when did losing to the dominant champ rule you out of fighting the number two guy in the division? Especially when they just bettered his performance against their last opponent :patsch

I imagine you'll be bitching similarly when Wlad fights Arreola and Adamek, who actually got schooled by the number two guy in the division, yet are being talked about as potential Wlad opponents.

It would make the greatest TV ever if the other party in Ukraine unveiled David Haye as their candidate for major of Kiev, Haye claiming all he needs to win is one city and hundreds of election officials who can count ballot papers

In all likelihood Haye would win the election, but Vitali would win the event- and foreign correspondent Larry Merchant would be there to announce that

ESB melts down (meltdowns?) completely. Post counts and vcash all hit 999999, join dates are reset to 01/01/0001, avatars become distorted, usernames become illegible sequences of characters... chaos reigns and posters start breaking down and uploading YT videos of themselves weeping in anguish, or smashing up their mum's basements in fury :scaredas:

The problem is that Haye just would not be able to beat old Vitali...Vitali is not Chisora. He may have become old and grey, but he is still a top athlete with lots of ring experience. Haye would not be able to tag Vitali with full force. In addition Vitali has an iron chin. No way Haye would knock him out or win a decision.

Chisora could tag Vitali, he's helluva lot slower than Haye, and hits a helluva lot softer. I can't see Haye koing Vitali, but if he can land I can see him tearing that paper skin into mâché!

    this...

Its just a stunt to **** vitali off to get him to fight him instead of the uncertainty that surrounds this subject.

    It will happen im sure

Could happen this way. More of a chance than versus WK.

But, also VK could pop David a couple of times and cause him to hop on the bike and drop his output to 20-25.

Lot's of scenarios could unfold. But the bookmakers don't seem to think so. VK is a currently a slightly heavier favourite than his brother was.

I think this is most likely - the only thing that makes this fight intriguing is that Wlad struggleed to land cleanly on Haye and Vitali is slower. He is less cautious and easier to hit, and his skin cuts and swells like nobodies business.

Stil, Vitali would be a huge favourite, the most likely outcome would be Vitali doing what his brother promised to do and knocking Haye about

Haye's gloves on Vitali's fragile skin would be like the flame of a blowtorch hitting a snowball.

So is Vitali actually a good candidate?
    Or just a puppet?

I would not overestimate Haye's win over Chisora. He lost before. He ate too many bombs from Vitaly and would not be the first whose career was effectively ended by Vitaly.

So if the fight happen Haye actually may look very bad and helpless.
