I won't be paying for that ****. I probably won't even watch the fight. Guerrero hasn't done anything to warrant a fight with Mayweather. All he has done is talk himself into a fight instead of actually beating relevant fighters.

You hardcore Mayweather fans are always talking about money as an important issue when making fights, well Cotto brings more money.. Cotto wants the rematch and Cotto had a few moments in the first fight. I'd rather see that rematch than Mayweather vs Guerrero, what other fights is there at the minute for Mayweather now Berto, Ortiz and Khan are out of the question?

    Jamez Kirkland

I'm not interested in seeing a Cotto(e) rematch. He only won 2-3 rounds, and Floyd took all the rounds in the final 3rd of the fight. That's convincing enough for me.

I'll be very surprised if Floyd picks Guerrero over Kirkland. At least Kirkland has a marketable "fan friendly" style and has been in some "exciting" fights. Robert brings his wife's cancer story to the table

Mayweather Guerrero is not a PPV worthy fight, IMO. I'm not buying if it's on PPV...

I like the Kirkland fight a lot. I think that would be a great matchup.

Not really. Kirkland's glass jaw and nonexistent defense combined with Floyd's fast, accurate straight right hands and awesome defense would be a disaster. Kirkland would walk right into tons of those lead rights and eat them all flush. He might not even see some of them coming.

Floyd is not a huge puncher, but he doesn't need to be a huge puncher to take Kirkland out. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he stopped Kirkland in 6 rounds or less.

A hypothetical Mayweather-Kirkland fight is a stylistic cakewalk for Floyd.

Mayweather poses stylisitic problems for everyone. A fight with Kirkland would at least be entertaining.

Guerrero is basically an unknown outside of the San Jose area and is totally unproven above 135. That's why he's an unacceptable opponent at welterweight. I like Guerrero and his fighting style, but in no universe should he be considered as a Mayweather opponent. If he had wins over Marquez/some other big name at 140 before this current venture at 147, he might have more of an argument. But he's got a paper thin resume. His best win is over Katsidis.
