I told you guys yesterday that Vicente Escobedo, my home town boy is going to beat Broner. This is the year of the upset, and tomorrow night will end the 3 upsets this year. First Josesito Lopez over Victor Ortiz, second Danny Garcia over Amir Khan and third will be Vicente Escobedo over Adrian Broner via KO in the 11th or 12th round. Broner didn't make weight by more than 3 pounds? he's too big for the division, and he needs to be a certain weight for tomorrow when he weighs in during the morning. All these distractions are going to do him in. You'll see a new champion crowned tomorrow. Don't believe me, watch it tomorrow on Boxing After Dark. :smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
"Weight means nothing." Really? Well, okay, **** it then, why don't we test that theory. How about Broner fights Wlad Klitschko next, what do you say? Let's see how that turns out.
Yea he's overweight, well obviously Vincente still will fight him, probably had a clause in the contract for some leway...Floyd and Manny continuously go into fights out weighed by double digits, the Klit bros out weigh their opponents by 20-30 even 40 pounds at times not to mention height and you're bitching about 3 or 4 pounds... Either Escobedo can beat Broner or he cant, 3 pounds wont be tge reasons he loses if he indeed does lose, its normal and expected for One fighter to out weigh the other by at least a few pounds on fight night, if the boxing commission has a problem with it they would strip Broner or cancel the fight, do if they're not tripping why are you broads bitching like women?
**** you and your racist ass. It's okay for Rios, EM and JLC to do it but if PBF or Broner does it there's a issue. No all of them were wrong. Don't pick and choose who you let slide.
I can care less about making weight. Morales and Broner are not on the same level. No racism here Im not even mexican...
Obviously, you are all worked up trying to defend Broner. Understandable, but where exactly am I bitching at? No need to go writing two paragraphs. That's just silly, and a waste of time, to be honest. All I did was comment on how idiotic the statement of "weight means nothing," was. Which it is, there is a reason for weight divisions. Oh, and no, they wouldn't cancel the fight. Tickets have already been sold, TV, etc. too much money for the arena and the city to lose out. So, no, the board would not cancel the fight. Money always wins out over the safety of the fighter. Broner could have weighed in 20 pounds over the limit and they wouldn't cancel it. The only one that as the power to do that would be Escobedo and his team. But, you don't see that nowadays because of money and time. Why cancel a fight just to work that hard and not get paid?
they weren't bragging about eating junk all month leading up to the weigh in, and they sure as **** weren't talking ****.......
Yea it means something if you put a 5'7 130lb Man in with a 6'7 250lb Man like you suggested, lets stick to the topic though Broner was over 3lbs and it doesnt mean **** at all, this isnt the first time this has happened the heavier Man often loses,at that...
Are you even reading, thats why i said IF they had a problem with it they would or Escobedo, obviously they dont and who would, its three ****ing pounds...
Floyd has never weighed over 147 as a WW Never over 140 as a jr WW Never over 135 as a LW Never over 130 as a jr LW
And bingo. That's the only point I wanted to make. That's all I said, was that it was an idiotic statement to make. Still not exactly why you started trippin, but that's the point. Now, as for the fight, will 3 pounds make a difference? No. The better fighter will win. Is it unprofessional? Absolutely. But again, to make a blanket statement that weight doesn't matter is idiotic.
Doesn't matter what they did none made weight. They all were wrong you can't pick and choose who you give a pass to. If that's the case give the pass to all of them.
Weight means nothing theoretically Floyd mayweather could beat vladimir klitschko with his superior speed. Win by ud
There is a Big difference, Did Rios try to take off the weight? Yes, Did Floyd or Broner? No they did not, Rios, JLC took allot of **** for not making the weight... Morales I think most gave a pass due to his age, coming out of an emergency surgery and still taking a fight that quick. Floyd and Broner have no excuse here they did not even try to take off the extra weight... that speaks for itself
