IF Broner looks anything less than spectacular tommorow he will get a ton of ****.
This kid has a lot of expectations riding on his back.

Look past the way Broner carries on and the fact that he's won an ABC belt and see him for what he is - a good young prospect who still has it all to prove. It's definitely in his best interests to make 140 and get a convincing result against Escobedo. Anything other than that and he'll cop plenty.

Here is how this is going to go down and you are dead right, Broner cant really eat tonight, if he does he has to work tomorrow before being reweighed.

When you sleep your metabolism slows down and does not fully digest what you ate late in the day. So Broner really is in a corner here, all he can do if he really wants this fight is drink water today maybe have a half pea nut butter sandwich to hold him over.

Then after he weighs in if he didnt have to skip rope a bit, he is going to try and rehydrate before the fight obviously but there comes a point in which you can dry yourself out so bad that your body says **** you and you can not rehydrate... I dont think he is at that stage though cus he didnt try to take off the extra weight.
What I can say is its obvious that he doesnt want this fight, he may be thinking about the trouble he did have with De Leon.... who knows.
All I can say is this, even should everything work out fine for him, and the fights a go he will not get credit for any type of spectacular win, and if he looks suspect in the fight well you know how that can turn out and should he lose well.... another HBO Product exposed this summer.

I dont see us having a fight tomorrow.

I just hope he doesn't get a pass for this... older veteran fighters, yeah they should get a pass... but when your young and supposedly the new face of boxing, not to mention a major part of an HBO roster of fighters, you have expectations. Like any other athlete in any other sport, your expected to uphold some of the basic requirements to be at that position. Making weight is one of them.

:nono No one should get a pass, but it does look worse when a fighter in their prime cannot make weight.

He sure as **** shouldnt be rewarded, I think the commission should suspend him for a year, its one thing to fail to make the weight but then you refuse to even try to take it off...
Slap in the face to the sport to your opponent and to the fans....

:patsch u cant be ****in serious.

so being slightly overweight is equivelant to using peds or having loaded gloves?? thats the only time people get suspended that long.
