Brits have glass jaws, you watch 90% of American fight videos online and people are getting knocked out cold left right and centre by arm punches.

The term Pound for Pound as a whole. I think people don't understand Pound for pound. People say, "Oh, he won his last two fights against good opponents so he goes up in the pound for pound list." P4P doesn't mean who has the better resume. It means that if the two boxers were the same weight, who would win. But it is impossible to know if a heavier weight fighter can beat a lighter weight fighter because in some cases their movements are different (Speed, reflects, foot movements, etc.)

old school boxers from 20's, 30's and 40's are better than boxers of the last 30 years. except for sugar ray robinson it's just a total joke.

That a challenger must knock out or dominate the champion in order to become champion.

That is utter bull**** and a myth

That fighter A ducked fighter B, when the truth is that most fights are business transactions.

no, that's actually true, most brit fighters have fragile mandibles, I say most, because there are some fighters like Froch have solid jaws

there are videos to prove this, as I'm sure you know, on YT

no disrespect to british fighters, but most don't have good chins to say the least

If someone offered you 30 million to fight your brother in a controled manner, for a chance to become an ATG, you wouldn't do it:?

If i lost to my brother in this manner i would be happy for him and i would cheer him on as he goes on in his career

That Floyd is unbeatable. If the greats from the past managed their careers like Floyd did/does, they would be undefeated too.

I think I'm gonna catch heat for just posting this! lol

    How about your cousin?

How about another fighter who's your good friend?

It's absurd. They are in the business of getting hit. If they had other top fighters to face, then they would probably get hurt a bit (as Vitali did with lewis) This is OK, but it's not OK if your brother does it? -When you're champion of the world and the brother is the most qualified challenger?

    You must be kidding.

They simply don't fight each other because one of them would have to lose, and oh no, we can't have that! It's the biggest duck in the history of the sport, yet they sem to get a pass from everyone.

I wouldn't punch anyone in my family in the face for money. Not sure why that is a controversial thing. It's not like they would be playing basketball against each other. They would be trying to knock each other unconscious.

Why fight each other? They will just stink up the joint and Wlad will win a decision?

How is any other outcome possible?

FRICKEN THANK YOU! So many people think fighters are ducking other fighters because they take more money to fight a fighter that may not be as good as another available opponent. That's not a duck. That's good business.

They aren't happy unless they bang it out with their choice of opponent for free. How many times would you do your job for free? How many times would you do something harder than your normal job and take less money? If your answer is never that doesn't make you a coward, it makes you smart.
