If Cotto was no longer a worthy opponent, why was Pac negotiating to fight him, trying to drag him down to 148lbs only to have his contract offer rejected for his catchweight bull**** :huh

    Was Pac trying to cherrypick?

Mayweather is a much better boxer than Pac, he has a much better defence and offence.

You have an argument with Hatton, however Floyd fought Hatton at a younger age and when he was undefeated. Either way it's close. Cotto +3 years at 154 > Cotto at 145 - 3 years.

    floyd's resume since 2008:

2012 - Cotto (pac leftover - floyd's own terms when fighting someone that he has fought and beat before)
    2011 - Ortiz (Overhyped Quitter)
    2010 - Mosley (Shot)
2009 - Marquez (pac leftover - floyd's own terms when fighting someone that he has fought and beat before)
    2008 - VACATION

    there it goes... :deal

Pac fought Mosely 2 years after Floyd and looked **** in the process

Pac lost to Marquez 2 years after Floyd beat him and the fight was voted robbery of the year

It seems even when he tries to eat the scraps from Floyds plate things don't go well for him

    Pac has nowhere to go

A shitty rematch with Bradley, or get schooled by Juan for a 4th, 5th, and 6th time

    He's done

The net is closing on you ****ing ladyboys

the only argument for cotto is that he is now wiser at LMW. WW is cotto's prime weight and fought and beat most of his better wins. also cotto is way faster at WW than the current version not to mention that he has taken less punishment 3 years ago than now.

The Cotto Floyd fought at 154 would give Manny hell and probably beat him. He definitely does not get stopped.

Why wouldn't manny fight Cotto at 154, when Floyd would?

Fact: Floyd through out his long career have been consistent with his victories, even after his long vacation.

If I was Manny I would not fight Cotto at 154. Manny's too small for that. Frankly it's unfair, but that proves my point. Cotto at 154 > Cotto at 147.

Strike that Cotto fought Pac at a 145 Catchweight not 147. Cotto at 154 > Cotto at 145.

140, 145 or 154, if cotto got hit by this, he would go down especially against the 2009 version of pac that he fought.

We have to agree to disagree on that one. I may be able to get to your side on Hatton (I'm not there), but this one is clear. Pac's camp appear to differ with you also. They forced the 145 catch weight.

bigger doesn't always mean better. the best cotto version fought at WW when he beat guys like mosley, quintana and judah. just because he gave floyd a tough fight at LMW, it doesn't mean it's the best version of cotto. for his so-called technical improvements, he lost his speed and acquired some damage. LMW is a **** divison anyway when cotto went up.

cotto's wins at WW > cotto's wins at LMW
