The hardest puncher I fought (Walker). Also, he is the only guy I had seen hurt Pulev even though he was thoroughly beaten. Arreola said the same thing. My 2 cents.

I seriously respect the hell out of Travis Walker. This is a guy who gives it his all every fight. Big man, can hit like a truck, has the skills but goes to war far too much. Has NEVER been in a bad fight, at least from what I have seen of him, win or lose, he's fun to watch and extremely easy to root for. Adamek's lack of power will probably keep Walker in the whole fight, but I have a feeling the Pole will win by decision - the only way I can see him winning. If he's not careful, the Freight Train will stop him. I will be rooting for Walker in this one. Hopefully he'll get the chance to fight a K-Bro.

No, actually, he didn't. Arreola took a knee. It was deliberately.

Yet, I agree he is a good puncher.

Sick of adamek there are bigger fights than this..... just saving a heavy knockout for a bigger crowd... there are so many prospects needing a step up get him in with some young blood......

Surprisingly, Pulev was in rather big trouble at least twice in that fight. Walker hits like a mule but, man, his punching technique is abysmal. He won't hit Adamek.

This will be Adamek's last fight, career ending KO for Walker

what's sad is that in 10 fights at heavyweight this would actually turn out to be Adameks 2nd best win at heavyweight behind an unmotivated Arreola (if you discount the Chambers fight he clearly got a gift decision in after being dominated and made to look silly by a small fighter with 1 arm).

No he isn't. He's just an exciting guy with huge power and a shaky chin, hence high probability of knockout one way or another.

Nothing particularly meaningful, just a fun fight.

What happened to the Fury fight?? That would have been a big fight for both of them

Fat Mick/C5 couldnt afford Szpilka, let alone Adamek. Dont expect Fury to face anyone in the top10 for the forseeable future.

He'll fight Harrison or Skelton next, or someone worse.

I got that fight and he had Chris Arreola backing up and being smashed by most powerful one twos. Happens that Travis has a leaky defense and I can prove it - he lost by TKO 1 to TJ Wilson, nothing more than an overweight, out of shape boxer - and in the rematch he stopped Wilson in 2. Of course after eating that left hook the first time Chris came to BAD HBO and in the third, he saw the stars on the ceiling. He also got caught By Manuel Quezada in the first in his fourth fight after that and in the year after 2009, to Johnathan banks in the sixth in 2010 and we al know that Banks was made short work under 200 pounds for Tomasz and two more losses put him in the back seat against Leapai in 4 and Chagaev by dec in 8. Recently the 6'4 1/2" tall former football player seemed to have turned his career back in the rise direction after a loss in 12 to Pulev by stopping Meehan in 6 and down under... Travis is not a big guy who fights like a short man inside such as Michael Grant. He's always superbly muscled, carries tons of power and keeps his opponents at the end of his long, thick arms but somehow, he has problems with footwork and when he's on defense, it's hell, leaky, vulnerable, stays trapped in corners and exposes his body by keeping those tree trunks up...
