To Rios' defense, he looked like death at the weigh in's where he missed weight.

Maybe he should have told Escobedo so they could change the contract weight an the underdog won't have another thing against him. Its very obvious Broner didn't try to make weight and its even more obvious that he could give a **** less.

Why the hell even have weight limits then. Lets just forget weigh-in all together then and just let fighters come in at whatever weight they feel more comfortable at.

Do you think it's fair, if you have to bust your ass to cut weight while you opponent doesn't try as hard as you and doesn't respect the agreed contract weight limit? They agreed to that weight limit.

Making weight or not, he's still the far superior fighter...I mean is that really a debate? I'm not saying he's Jesus Christ incarnated but in this matchup I don't give what the weight he's clearly the better fighter.

So you are going to give him a pass because he is a great one? He should be more responsible than any other fighter the standard is higher... Broner is $h1t

All of you excusing this know Broner is wrong. Not so much about the weight, but the complete disregard to boxing and the opponent. Race aside, Broner is a ****ing piece of ****. Plain and simple

No debating that, Broner is the more skilled fighter.

Just like there is no debating, there is no excuse for Broner or any fighter not making weight. Straight disrespect to the sport.

nobody is making excuses for Broner he missed weight bad move on his part. What is funny is all the people making excuses for others that have also missed weight.

Everyone knows that Broner is much better than Escobedo right?

So why didn't he fight a top guy at 135 if he knew he couldn't make weight any more?

I like the guy but thats a pretty ***** move imo

    Let me quote PlatnumPapi

"who gives a ****, hes moving up to 135..."

sounds to me like he's excusing it.

Maybe he really thought he could of made the weight, I can understand that. But after failing to do so, he could of at least apologized for not doing so.

they probably thought he could make it one more time. The extra months he had to wait and fight actually might have hurt him.
