50 cent becomes boxing promoter, signs Dirrell and Gamboa

Smart move, I was wondering when this was going to happen.
I think we are going to have a new force in boxing felas.

Cause I had read reports about Mayweather Promotions not actually having a Promoters license.
This confirms it in some way.

 

someone that powerful being involved with boxing is good for the sport for sure.

Now hopefully Mayweather/50 can take out Bob Arum and become the dominant forces in boxing, now that DK is done.

 

Dirrell is a clown so hes with the right promoter if you can call that dude a promoter to begin with.

But Gamboa is a real talented kid.

But hes a very impressionable kid too.

hes been swayed by all the hoopla surrounding 50 and his buttbuddy Floyd.

This is a bad move for him.

Now watch his career go down the gutter.

 

Dominant force ...there would be a problem because health come first for their fighter.

 

I just hope he doesn't have his fighters party all the time,now i expect a music video with all his fighters in it.

the sport isnt gonna get anymore hurt than it is. 50 is a massive name. if he plays his cards right it could bring in more fans. especially the younger generation. more fans equals more money for fighters. hope it works

Dear God.. Fiffy has Gamboa's ass.

 

I hope he does well, 50 isnt the 1st rapper to get involved in boxing. I remember MC Hammer was Holyfield's manager for a while.

Most important thing is that Gamboa & Dirrell get fights & stay active. I hope 50 picks up a few prospects as well & doesnt just focus on world-level, established fighters.
