CARL FROCH: Cleverlly not a world champ

To be fair Cleverly has never fought a world champ, he's European level regardless of what title he has

 

to be fair im a huge fan of froch. but he should try and hold on the bad mouthing/negative comments of fellow british fighters( unless hes gonna fight one) no other brit does it. You'd think he'd of learnt his lesson against Calzaghe. It affects his popularity. I just wanna see him popular in the joe public media eyes. He can slag out who the **** he wants then.

Neither is a World champ to me; just title holders. One has to be a moralist about such matters.

 

I do not think Cleverly has fought anyone of real notice as in the elite he has had a chance to fight. Bellew gave him a fight and I believe in the re-match Bellew wins thats why the fight has not been made

Until Froch beat Bute, he had only won vacant titles and against Abraham they were both coming off losses

Unless I'm missing something, he didn't mention who Cleverly beat to win the belt, he just said he wasn't a world champion.

Presumably he considers himself a world champion, despite the fact that he's also not the best in his division.

 

bit off the subject but didn't frank say he was breaking some news of a big fight this week? (should have been yesterday) I was assuming it would be clevs opponent.

Cleverly is a fraud, but not because he has the WBO belt. Not even because he hasn't defeated a fighter who was a 'champion' at that time. He's a fraud because his opposition is an absolute joke for someone who has had multiple 'world title' fights. It has literally been pathetic. His best win is Tony Bellew who is a good fighter, but he isn't world level. Even then the decision was very, very debateable.

Carl Froch is an iron-chinned hero who has fought Ward, Bute, Kessler, AA, Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Johnson, Magee etc. The man is a ****ing warrior who has earned the right to talk **** about pretty much anyone, especially some protected fraud who hasn't done anything. Cleverly and ****** have both used Froch's name to promote past fights, in fact, ****** said that he'd 'give Froch the opportunity' to fight for Cleverly's title after he lost to Bute. We all know what happened there! If only Cleverly and Frank had the balls to make the fight happen, the poor lad would be ****ing decapitated!
