Floyd would throw that counter left hook whenever Pacquiao throws his lunging left with his right hand down at his ribs. Probably be ample opportunity to follow it with a short uppercut after being in position from the initial pivot. And he'd throw that laser guided straight right whenever Pacquiao throws his lazy ass jab. Floyd would even be slipping Pacquiao's straight left and picking him apart with his straight right then following it with the left hook to the body. It'd be a bunch of 3s, 2s, 2-3s, and even 3-4s all night. Whoever watched the Bradley fight realises this.
All of this talk within the last year of Floyd being able to "walk down" and "T/KO" Pacquiao is ludicrous. Good lord. Despite both being past their prime, Pacquiao's chin and heart are both certified granite. Whether he shows killer instinct or not, I just cannot see him folding. Despite Bradley's questionable punching power, look at the "good shots" he hit Pacquiao with. Per their recently common opponent, Miguel Cotto, consider the bigger size difference-- compounded by the time of having moved up-- and how much fresher Cotto was physically-- and that Pacquiao did not show substantial damage until after their respective match. In comparison, Floyd was hurt several times versus an aging Cotto.
Easier said than done. That's what training for, review and learn your opponent, work on the things you see. Nuff of these crap, none of you, none, knows exactly what would happen if they even fight. SOme of you talk as you KNOW exactly what's going to happen. The truth is, you only say what you want to believe.
I'm making observations based on everything I have seen from watching all of Floyd's fights, all of Pacquiao's fights over the last 10 years. And more specifically Pacquiao's performances against Marquez and more recently Bradley. It's a guess, sure, but an educated scientific guess based on logical inference and observations. It has nothing to do with what I "want to believe" and everything to do with logic and probability. And yes, that is what training is for, and I'm quite confident that counter left hooks, lead straight rights and short combination punching against aggressive, come-forward southpaws with substandard lateral and head movement, poor technical defence and lunging punches would be an integral part of Floyd's training camp.

fmj had his chance to beat pac & be the one to end the hype, at the same time establish himself as the greatest of his own era... he acted like a *** & ****ed the fans over as well as his own legacy.... he ****ed up MASSIVELY & now he`ll only ever be ranked WITH (if he`s lucky) pacquiao, rather than guys like Whitaker or Chavez (who actually fought to decide p4p best)... he`s a million miles away from the Leonard & Duran`s of the world, don`t even get me started on the true elite`s like Robinson, Ali, Pep, Armstrong etc. All fact ^ Close thread !
