Froch has fought much tougher opposition, but Haye deserves credit for fighting guys far larger than he is.
Haye doesn't get enough credit for fighting at such a weight disadvantage. He has also ruled a weight class - something Froch hasn't done. Froch has fought more high quality operators but was dominated by a guy the same size as him and has been beaten twice recently. Haye just.
P4P Froch no doubt.. Froch: Bute Pascal Dirrell Taylor Johnson Haye: Mormeck Valuev Maccarinelli Chisora Ruiz
Both Haye and Froch lost to the man at their (current) divisions.. Just because you lose to someone bigger than yourself doesn't make it a "lesser" defeat, many HWs has fought at weight disadvantage..
P4P is a comparison between fighters across weight classes based on resume and achievements. Unless OP meant a fantasy P4P fight between Haye and Froch
I did, Froche was getting beaten by Taylor until Jermaine ran out of gas, lost to Kessler, should have lost to Dirrell, got completely schooled by Ward. He beats Bute and now he is the flavour of the month and extremely overrated around here. P4P, by definition Haye is a better fighter, Froch has a better record and has been active but he is not as good as Haye. I never liked either guy until people started to talk so much chit about Haye that i went back and watch his fights (now i would say I am somewhat of a fan) and he is head and shoulders above Froch
Resume and achievement is only an indicator on how good a fighter is. I would say Froch has overachieved and Haye has underachieved (well he was unified the CW titlist and moved up to fight and beat fighters a lot bigger than him. While I am not a fan of froch I do respect what he has done. But by definition P4P Haye is a better fighter
