What people do not and have not pointed out Jose Luis Castillo was 3.5 pounds over the limit when he rematched Diego Chico Corrales, and the majority if not all of those who are supporting Broner here, were furious at what had happened.
Some how today its a different story

Escobedo is an Olympian who can give good exciting fights and has the Mexican fan base behind him. Also probably top 3 in the division specially now that Broner left it.

Escobedo will be alright. Trust me. If he really had no options he would be forced to take this. Only thing that sucks for him is he now has to sue Broner to get his money and just threw away a training camp.

the point stands 3 pounds is not the difference between winning and losing, not even close.
esco should man up like Haye did.

No, the sole blame is on broner. And if anyone bitched out, it's him. He missed the contracted weight TWICE and made no attempt to meet it, which just shows that he wasn't interested in this fight going through.

You've proven yourself such a ****ing fraud yesterday and this morning. You'll position yourself however you must to defend SAB boxers no matter what.

Really? Corrales Castillo 2 in which Castillo came in the same amount of weight over the limit 3.5.
its not just that he has a jump start on what he weights on fight night today he is 143 by the time he enters the ring 150, thats 20 pounds over what they were to weigh in at and yes that does make a huge difference

this, fighters are so pampered that they are brainwashed that 3lbs make a legitimate difference, skills pay the bills. Just as Floyd Patterson proved in every fight at HW.
