You only got 2 punches (your left and your right)
Holyfield proved this wrong with his head.

Not only that, but Leonard usually fought in a more flat-footed manner anyway.

Leonard dancing on his toes and being fleet-footed, like how he fought Hagler and Duran in the 2nd and 3rd fights, was the exception, not the norm.

How? all i was saying was that the 90's were not a good decade for boxing because there were not that many great fights in comparison with other decades.

The gameplan for the first fight was to be on his toes and box Duran.

read what you first wrote again. it seemed to say it is was great but not great.

If you are talking matchups, you had a lot of great matchups in the 90s. JCC, Oscar, Pernell, Holyfield, Tito, SSM all had great matchups during that decade. I think the 90s were better than 2000 on due to money always getting in the way

If you look at fights in the 90s there really weren't any fights that could be considered some of the greatest. While in the 2000's you had Ward-Gatti Castillo-Corrales and Morales-Barrera all which could be considered in the top 10 greatest fights of all time.
