Yesterday he weighed 133lbs. Today he weighs 143lbs. There's no way he even attempted to make this fight happen.

    This is ridiculous.

If he can't stay under 140lbs by 9.30am the following morning, he's either way too big or clearly not bothered and thinks that he's above the rules.

I just hope that Escobedo isn't ''bought'' by the promoters/HBO and tells Broner to go and **** himself, and then sues for loss of earnings as a result of the failure to make weight.

If he's 143 at 9.30am, he'll be close to 150 in the ring.

Ricky Hatton used to get in at 152, and he was a big, strong light welter. A man going in at close to 150 shouldn't be fighting against a super feather. End of story.

    Escobedo

Its **** for the fans, especially those who bought a ticket but its the right decision from Team Escobedo, he'd've been on a hiding to nothing. He has a much smaller chance of winning, if he lost where was he? Nowhere, reject the fight keep your high ranking and maybe get a shot at the vacant title.

**** Broner, I hope Burns smashes this *****.

HBO will be livid with Broner for this.

It is off now though, cant blame Escobedo though for pulling out since they signed to fight at 130 lbs then asked for Broner to weigh 131.5 and then finally tried one final weigh to make the fight happen by asking Broner to weigh 140 lbs on the morning of the fight.

£10 says that Escobedo will be frozen out now then.

He's crossed Golden Girl and Al Haymon by refusing to bend over and be ****ed up the ass.

Escobedo should tell them to **** off...

    I bet HBO are pleased.

Escobedo is being put in an awful situation. If he fights, he will be in the ring against a guy who is much bigger and seemingly hasn't tried to make weight today. If he doesn't fight, he pisses off HBO and loses a big payday.

    Agree.

I hope Broner is stripped of the title and Escubedo fights a nobody for the vacant.
