Rios can fight Thurman since he is just as bad as Broner with making weight, but who would you want Broner to face instead?

Rehydrated weight was 140lbs not 143lbs..he would have come in right at the fight at about 150+ lbs

Man I never was a fan, I see he is very entertaining when he is being himself, but did u see his twitter pictures? The guy is eating junk food, trying to be Floyd, nothing but cereal, cookies, twinkies, twix bars, then comes in at 143...WOW

They were supposed to weigh in at 130 not fight at 130.
It´s not like Escobedo will be 130 at fight night.
Broner weighing in at 133 was a clear enough indication to any person with some intelligence that he would be over 140 on fight night.
:conf i dont know what the big fuss is about the 140. Broner ****ed up and thank the heavens that he has to give up a portion of his purse. Too bad Escobedo wont get it all.
I just hope that Escobedo is 140 as well and the fight will go ahead.

They agreed since Broner didn't make 130 lbs that they would have a rehydration clause that Broner has to be 140 lbs on the morning of the fight, that would still leave Broner the rest of the day to put on more weight.

Broner didn't even make the second agreed upon weight.

And on fight night he was 3 pounds over the contractual limit (143), not 13 pounds over. :fire

No need to apologise. Broner is definitely talented. The kid can punch. But he's a woefully poor PBF clone with a really **** gimmick. In days gone by boxers would earn their stripes. Now you got these young cats running around fronting like they're superstars. He lost his belt at the scales because he's unprofessional and a clown. His career will only take off if and when he learns some humble pie. When you don't have the skills to back up your talk or your gimmick his stay in this sport is bound to be short.

He still has all day to put on more though, that is why they likely wanted Broner to have to work to sweet of 3 lbs so that he is less able to put on as much weight as he would now.

    Immature and unprofessional.

Probably has a bunch of clowns/'yes men' in his camp that don't call him out on his bs.

GB ought to step in and insist on some changes to protect their investment.

And im not debating that. I actually side with Escobedo but it still doesnt take away from
    This content is protected
that Broner wasnt 13 pounds over the limit like this thread is making it out to be.

I know that but if you fail to make two agreed upon weigh ins it is not suprising that you would get hate for it, I mean weight classes exist for a reason.

Offtopic but I watched Broner vs Ponce De Leon and scored it a draw, but it could easily been 96-94 either way so wouldn't call it a robbery. The 99-91 card though I don't understand atall.
