escobedo would be more of a hoe if he accepted more money to fight a weight cheater. i would respect him more if he stood his ground and he won't let be whored into accepting the fight just because of some additional money all because of broner's professionalism or lack of it.

At what point to they stop negotiating then?

"Oh okay Adrien, sorry you couldn't make 150 by Round 2. If by the 6th round your only 152 we'll fight the last 6 rounds"....

    :patsch

So, what? Wait till ring walks? Boner was already stuffing his face after weigh in.

I'm not shifting blame from Broner - I said **** Broner. I'm just placing blame on Escobedo as well for not trying harder to keep the fight together.

For his own good. He's not guaranteed another fight on HBO, or Showtime. He's already been beat by guys like Katsidis.

Broner on the other hand, will be back primetime HBO regardless.

He could have taken some major cash from Broner, and at the same time, made him agree to a fight night weight clause. And set it up to where he has to pay you out of his OWN POCKET (since there would be no fight purse) if he failed to make weight on fight night. TRY something.

I was merely referring to this instance in reply to another poster bringing up Mayweather. Don't jump the gun.

He came in two pounds over the contracted weight of 144 at the weigh in. A catch weight negotiated from his camp... shows a blatant disregard for the rules of you ask me, a la Broner now. So I won't be 'saving this ****,' I'll be using it to make an informed comparison.

Hour before fight starts. Oh matter of fact, yes, hell yes, make him weigh in right before ring walk.

    TRY SOMETHING.

He has already tried to make the fight happen more than once though, they signed to fight at 130 lbs and Broner failed to make the weight , so they then wanted Broner to weigh in 131.5 lbs to make the fight happen, that again didn't happen so they settled for Broner to weigh 140 lbs on the morning if the fight and again Broner failed to make the weight.

If the fight doesn't go through then it is all down to Broner.
