Yeah I just saw that tweet too, wow they turning down $300k + and a shot at the WBO title that could take him to the next level he should just take it he's not exactly the A side of the equation here, His management team should let the fight go on, he wont get opportunity like this again, by not taking the fight he will be in negative equity because of all travelling expenses and training gone to waste.

Well he has nothing to lose. Even if he loses, he'll be first in line for the title anyway. (unless he pulled an Ali Funeka and was using diuretics to make weight which would make this a lot funnier and probably end up with someone getting sued)

Broner screwed up but this offer is enough to compensate escobedo and has exceeded what I thought he would get, fight should go ahead, people have travelled and spent money to see this fight, money has gone into Training and Promotion, it would all be a big waste.

:patsch:patsch:patsch god. u are acting like this is Canelo Vs Froch or something. its a 3 lbs difference. this is boxing, Escobedo has fought @ LIGHTWEIGHT and faced heavy punchers like guerorro and katsidis. turning down double the pay is pretty much showing that u are not confident in your abilities.

Is Escobedo pulling a masterstroke here? He is waiting as long as possible to make a decision, his purse is getting doubled, and in his mind he might have always decided that he was gonna fight. Broner would be in a terrible state of mind not knowing whether he is going to fight or not. This waiting game might just be a very clever plan from Escobedo. And if he does pull the upset in the fight he has to be considered the biggest G in the Boxing world.

Broner deserves a lot if most of the blame for this situation but Esco should take that offer though, I'm trying my best not to put any negative spin on Escobedo and his team but I will again say he should take that offer.

Jeez.... Broner rehydrated to 143 at 9.30am.

He'd be nearly 150 in the ring.

Esco might be just over 140lbs.

Tell Bonehead to go **** himself, unless they offer him like $500k or some ****.

Don't let Al Haymon controlled frauds walk all over you.
