Imagine people who are driving quite a distance to see the fight, must be turning round to go home then turning back to the fight every 10 minutes.

If Escobedo doesn't want to fight, perhaps Broner could just fight one of the guys on the undercard

EDIT: Nevermind, the fight is back on again, lol

You completely made up "10-12 lbs", have you seen other fights in similar weight classes with bigger gaps than this? I have...

thank you gobb that is a real answer unlike everyone else just saying brush my hair boy will weigh so much more. esco has the opportunity to do the same but his weight gain might not be as effective because brush my hair boys is because you believe his 3lbs to be muscle.

No-one gives a **** about how much Vicente Escobedo is going to make in his career earnings, well, at least, I don't.

I've watched Broner, and from that and this attitude, I can put it together and honestly state I don't see him being a mega-earner either.

I want to see a fight, and funnily enough, the contract these two men signed stipulated they weigh in at 130 lbs.

The contract did not say, you must put yourself on the line no matter what your opponent comes in at, as long as he tried to make 130 lbs.

Escobedo is doing himself and boxing a service by sticking his middle finger up. I applaud him. The more people do that, the less bull**** we'll get from idiots trying to make weights they simply cannot ala Rios, Castillo, Broner.

Reason would mean assuming the guy involved actually knows what is best for him, not a bunch of internet forum posters. This isn't about you. Period. You may or may not be right about GBP/HBO but you don't know. You simply want it to be true because you want to see the fight go forward. If the kid dies in the ring tonight or has a career ending beating, it doesn't affect your life at all does it?

weegriffin so you believe 140 is escos weight ceiling. if not i dont see why he cant try to get his weight up besides what gobb said. what is his normal fight night weight ive never seen him fight.

gobb had a good answer anyone arguing against the fight should mock his response.

    Reppin...

Broner weighed in this morning at 143 having been told to be 140. For whatever reason, he cannot keep his weight down.

Now either the guys been bloating himself on ben and jerry's or he's just too big for 130. If it's the latter, there is a high possibility his weight would have continued to rocket.

Either way, its unacceptable and he should be fighting at a weight he can make.

Yep :good Escobedo can gain "push around" weight. Broner already has 3.5 lbs more of weight to actually push with. If Broner could have dehydrated down to 130, I think he would have. He can't be that brash, that arrogant, or that dumb.
