    I'd probably favor Gamboa in that match-up too..... but if you think Escobedo is smaller than Broner, Gamboa is much smaller.

    True. I was thrown off by his fight that didn't happen at 135 I guess. Forgot he was going up for that one. Still, last time I saw Gamboa fight he looked like he REALLY was there to hurt his opponent. Had a mean streak I didn't remember from before. I think a lot of Gamboa's amateur tendencies and balance problems are behind him. He'll show Porky what hungry is.

    I agree with you.... he'd be in there to hurt Broner. If he'd use his superior speed and footwork while mixing in some solid combos and bombs, I think he'd get a win.

    He'd have to watch out for some of those big shots Broner throws though.... but Broner has a tendency to throw alot of his power punches from a flat-footed, wide stance. Gamboa could avoid those shots if he moved his feet like he usually does.

    It's unreal how people are hating on this kid...Sad really, he hasn't even had the chance to really get started and people already hope he fails.

    People tag on Broner, but Gamboa has been down before, Broner has power and is accurate. Gamboa's going down.

    Yes, I understand Gamboa has had better opposition, but only by a smidge.

    Be realistic. Why would they fight at this time? Neither has a belt. Neither are that big of a draw(yet), especially for the kind of money Gamboa is wanting.

    Maybe if it was some kind of forced eliminator, but I still don't see Broner and Haymon going for that. They have their own plans for Broner's progression.

    He's a disrespectful ****. Have you seen how he acts inside the boxing ring? Have you seen the contempt he shows opponents? What about his attitude in interviews or the way he acts on Twitter?

    People are hating on him because he's a **** and he deserves it. If he was a person with even a modicum of decency, people wouldn't be jumping on him now. He's as repulsive as someone like Dirrell or Mayweather. They're all pieces of **** and when they do **** up, they deserve every bit of criticism they get.
