Impressive stat for sure but guys like Robinson, pep, Armstrong and Chavez had greater winning streaks and have better legacies than Floyd at this point.....undefeated records aren't as important as who makes up your list of opponents....the depth and substance of a resume will be do more for a fighters career than just being an undefeated fighter.

How about the years he was retired? Are those years included in your 14 years?

Julio Cesar Chavez holds records for most successful consecutive defenses of world titles (27), most title fights (37), most title-fight victories (31) and he is tied with Joe Louis for most title defenses won by knockout (21). Chávez also has the longest undefeated streak in boxing history, 13 years.

Probably not.......its like Nards record title defense at MW....great feat...no question about it but Monzon and Hagler get more credit simply becuase the depth and substance of their consecutive title defenses offered more quality opposition than BHOP's. It's still impressive none the less....

Willie Pep had a 60+ winstreak and has won 229 of 241 fights.
He also fought Robinson while outweighed by 25 lbs.

Not sure I think the draw ended the streak.
    The WW fight w/Pernell.
