    Figueroa is pushing Salcido into the corner with left hands, and crashes in with a right hand.     That's the scuttlebutt.

    There were actually two times I almost saw him but didn't for different reasons (on a Solo Boxeo card in 2010 where he was supposed to be on the televised card as a cofeature but wasn't even ultimately shown as a swing bout, and then as the first bout on the Ring Kings: Mayweather vs. Cotto undercard but I think I tuned in too late or something)

    Figueroa is just bullying Salcido on the inside, shouldering him back and chopping away up top and drilling up body shots. Sloppy but effective from Figueroa. Salcido is just letting himself get carried around, barely throwing anything back, and running away when the ref interferes as they get tangled.

Salcido is also not helping, being very negative, backing up, leaning in, grabbing, throwing short love taps while grinding against Figueroa. Hard chopping combo by Figueroa. Salcido backs out of the pocket, crouches, waits, and then springs up with an uppercut to the chin. Figueroa doesn't blink.
