    Broner is leading and countering with his jab as Escobedo moves left and tries to find a way in. Escobedo is patient on the outside, trying different tacks, first jabbing high and then ducking in with rights to the body. Broner has a counter jab waiting for everything, and is slipping most of Escobedo's head shots by utilizing that shoulder roll and leaning to the side with his right arm planked up by his chin. BIG combo by Broner, putting Escobedo in a corner. Escobedo has the high guard up but Broner is whacking him hard with both hands, rocking his body around. Left hook to the body by Escobedo standing in. Broner waits by the ropes and Escobedo lunges in and connects with a flying right hand, then a follow-up left hook before Broner can roll back and shimmy free. Jabs to the body by Broner. Counter uppercut by Broner, grazing, as Escobedo gets in a couple of body shots.

    Nice round from Broner. I think Broner's style now is best for him. WHen he pressures you, gradually walking you down, but counter punching you. A pressure-counterpuncher.

    Much better off the front foot, than off the back foot. He opened up nicely, but Escobedo was defending well.

    Escobedo shot a few nice lead hooks to the body, but Broner one step ahead, seeing the opening, and firing back with perfect counters.

    Still Escobedo doesn't look lost at all.

    Round 2 = 10-9 Broner.
