    Yep, that's always been the plan. He hasn't signed anything yet but he's talked to American promoters. The hype is going to be ridiculous.

    Yeah from what I hear that's what is gonna happen. If he wins gold, which he should, then there isn't really anything else for him to accomplish anyway.

    if he doesn't he'e a clown with no confidence. he'd be crazy not to, i'd like to see it. at very least he'd grab a belt early, he's a beast, i'll be shocked if he doesn't win another gold

    I hope so, He's one of the best amateurs ever and he is still only 24. Very talented fighter.

    Lomachenko with no confidence, that's a good one. His life goal has always been to win olympic gold, as that's harder to do than win a pro title. He's always said that he wants to turn pro, he wanted to turn pro after the Worlds in 2009 but his father (who is also his trainer) wanted him to stay amateur for longer to let his body mature. He's turning pro to make money, that's why he's going to sign with an American promoter. The pro game is child's play for Lomachenko, to think he'd be afraid of facing lesser competition and making money is laughable.
