Browne won the Aus title, then connected up with Hatton for a couple of fights, fought who he was told to, so Hatton could get a look at him. Beat both journeyman in clinical fashion. Sorry mate, I'm going to have to bring out the little head scratcher again:huh What indication is there that Lucas is avoiding fights?

By all means, get your opinion out there, that's what a forum is for. But if you're going to say **** for shits sake, expect to cop some heat for it.

 

Perhaps not next, but he'll get his opportunity. But when he does get his UK opportunity Hatton will want to cash in on it. What's the point of Hatton sending over an Aus import with potential, that most UK fight fans haven't seen or heard of, to fight a UK front line HW? Dollars and cents, it's not going to draw much attention or excitement from the UK fight fans. So Browne has to do his time again, prove himself over there, build a name, then Hatton will give him the key to the executive washroom and give him his shot.

But again. Your statement was that Browne was NOT going to fight the top line UK heavies. Having a couple of fights to establish himself (the bums) and prove himself to Hatton's crew is not proof that he's not going to step up.
