"...If Broner wins, then he will become No. 1 at 135 pounds and become the mandatory for Ricky Burns..."

Ricky Burns: "Oh shi*#!" (wets knickers!):lol:

Ricky Burns is an easy fight for nobody. Broner should realise that he'd be in a hell of a fight.

Hell, Kevin Mitchell would hit Broner back, and give as good as he gets for a few rounds. Quote me on it.

Burns went up weight class when he couldnt make it any more.

Broner stayed at 130 when he couldn't make the weight and didn't even try.

Broner got beat by 122 PDL...

Burns won't be an easy fight for Broner. He would be Broner's best opponent that he has fought since Ponce De Leon.

Well, Broner didn't call out Burns. The fight most likely to happen is DeMarco. I like that fight, but I think Broner is too fast for DeMarco. Tony can punch like the dickens, and can box a little bit too with his long reach, and jab. But he's not very fast at all. He's quite slow in fact, so Broner should have no problem at the very least pot shotting him to a 12 round victory to become THE NEW WBC 135 champ.

Burns isn't at easy fight for Broner. Miguel Vazquez isn't either. Hell, none of the belt holders at 135 would be an easy fight for Broner, as they're all LEGIT championship level boxers. I think the WBA strap is still vacant because of the Rios/Abril robbery, but I think Abril is guaranteed a crack at it in his next fight. Broner/Abril would be a HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE style match up (for the fans) where Broner wins.

I wouldn't take the last three words as a given, its highly debatable if Abril has ever deserved to lose.

I agree. I just think (IMO) Broner's speed would carry him to a somewhat close, but clear UD. I could very well see Abril pot shotting him, and picking him off to win majority of the rounds, though. Broner wouldn't be able to plod, and just walk down Abril, looking for counters, and getting him with lead punches. He'd have to show some more angles, and movement. I think he's capable of doing so.

BUt you're right, it's by far a given for Broner. I think based on style matchups, it would just be a horrible fight for the fans, though.

Not sure if Abril is with Top Rank. But that fight is unlikely to happen becuase of the style of Abril, his lack of name value. ANd if he's working with Arum, it's definitely not going to happen.
