He should target Burns, and stay hot on his ass through the media. Just on pure principle. Burns ducked him once, after getting a lot of us excited over a November showdown with Broner. He all the sudden "couldn't make weight" anymore. So yeah, get Burns. If not, any of the champs at 135 would do. DeMarco, and Vazquez (although Vazquez very well could outbox him) would be great fights. If he wants a somewhat less difficult fight to see what it's like to share the ring with big, strong lightweight for his first fight, I think Katsidis would be a good choice. I would have no problem if he wanted to take a fight like this for his first fight at 135. Although he seems to already want the big game.
Gamboa should be the ultimate prize. I'd like to see him first get a belt, and another solid win or two under his belt first. Then Gamboa late 2013.
Listen,I know you like to keep things reserved and you're a bit sensitive to anything that doesn't meet your polite standards... But you're way out of line about Burns saying he ducked Broner. There aren't many things I can say or talk about that haven't been widely reported but this is the exception. I know for an absolute fact that Burns didn't duck Broner.100% bombproof fact that it didn't happen. You want to try and prove me wrong? Please do.
You ****ing idiot. You know **** all about this so don't try and make out you do.He was struggling at the weight for a long long time so why the **** would he go in against the most talented guy at the weight for a long time when he knew he was really struggling to boil down? Would you go and have a straightener with someone who could really have a dash when you were dying with flu? No you ****ing well wouldn't,so shut the **** up.
He wants DeMarco in his first fight. Whatever. I'd be alright with that. Let him fight Valero's coke-snot leftovers.
