Please replace RJJ

I really think he is worse than both Foreman and Lewis. I know some folks watch the fights with the audio off, I like to listen to the commentary, I like Lampley, I even at times sort of like Kellerman, but when Roy is on it's gotten to the point where I'm seriously considering turning the audio off.

How do you guys feel about him?

 

roy isnt the best, true. honestly antonio tarver is the best of all fighter-commentators. john scully was good on espn back in the day as well. hbo would never hire him though, only people from the northeast and hardcore followers know of him.

 

:huh He's pretty much the only one who knows what he's talking about all of the time. I like the HBO team in general but I've never found a reason to dislike Roy's commentary. He's pretty fair and objective, is always very observant, and knows the key elements to the fight going on in front of him.

 

So you have a problem with Roy,but not Lampley and Kellerman who are biased as ****???Roy atleast tells it how it is and isnt biased

if anybody needs to go, its Lampley. Murchants an ******* at times, but i like Murchant for his brutal honesty. Lampley is slipping.

 

I liked him. I mean he dose self prompt from time to time, but the flip side is that you get commentary from him about things that are happening/ have happened in the fight. Where as with Lamply Merchant and some time Steward i think that they are secretly watching Showtime or espn boxing during the HBO telecast.

I like that fact that Roy called out a left hook that landed from broner that lamely said had missed. I also like the tutorials that he gives in his commentary it makes it easier for causal fans to keep up.

My favorite commentator today is Joe Rogan (go figure) because not only dose he call a fight accurately but he explains what is happening and what can happen making MMA extremely accessible to people just starting to get into the sport and i feel that boxing needs that same thing which i feel Jones some what brings.

 

Rjj is the only person on the whole HBO team who's worth a Damn. Get rid of steward and merchant if you want to get rid of someone.

 

I actually like RJJ on HBO. I like Steward too. The rest can go ASAP please.

Lampley is a ****ing cheerleader, if anyone should go its him, he even started making Kellerman Cheerlead

 

Keep RJJ & Steward, dump all those other clowns.

 

i like roy...you have to keep in mind he is a fighter first and an annalist second...and he likes to give HBO their moneys worth by talking and talking alot

 

Only Roy knows the weakness of the shoulder defense hbo will keep him on until he reveals the secret

 

Jones is pretty good. Steward is my favorite.
