Anyway, there used to be a series of documentaries on ESPN about different ethnic groups in boxing: Blacks, Italians, Jewis, Irish, etc. Each had their own video.

I think this was one of them. It was a very long time ago so I can't quite remember.

Most have been mentioned already but surprised with the popularity of "The Fighter" that no one mentioned Saoul Mamby......Also my favorite of all time Benny Leonard- top 10 all time great and the best lightweight ever....he was mentioned but yeah man YDKSAB if you don't know about the great Jews that have graced the sport. In the early 1900's through to 1930's there was a **** ton of poor Jewish immigrants living in poverty in America and they produced some of the best fighters and champs of the time. A good portion of the greatest fighters ever came from poverty and when a ton of Jews in america were a down and out bunch they gave us some gems.
