    This is a question to Lennox Lewis fans that I know is a big point of debate among them. Do you forgive Lewis for retiring and refusing a rematch against vitali? Although Lewis lost a lot of credibility do you generally not care for what he did anymore and accept the fact that it made him look bad along with the fight.

    :deal:thumbsup

    Exactly.

    As a big Klitschko fan who thinks that Lennox is incredibly overrated on ESB, I still say he won the fight due to a cut caused by a punch.

    A rematch would have been great...and classy...and yeah, he said he would do it...and he didn't...but who ****ing cares?

    I'll even go as far as to say that Lennox legacy will be greater than Vitali's...assuming Vitali retires soon.

    Wlad will surpass Lennox...but that is another thread.

    That **** was 10 years ago or something. Its irrelevant now. Get over it.

    If you can find 5 boxers who retired(for good) with these credentials , Ill send Lennox a hate letter.

    * Last fight is a victory over a Prime A-Class opponent(not manuelcharr)
    * Championship belt around your waist
    * Defeated everyone you faced in your career, avenged all losses
    * Won the undisputed title of your division
    * At least 150 million dollars in the bank account

    To quit while you are ahead is not the same as quitting...

    I wish more great fighters would have done this, that way the trolls on ESB can only imagine what would happen to the fighter, and not see it first hand and act like it means something...

    I don't think Lewis lost any credibility.. He retired, after stopping a man that became one of the best HW's of his generation...

    So what... Why does a fighter have to fight until he is a shell of himself? Lewis knew when to get out, and he did, after a stoppage, of one of the best HW's.

    True. But where are Wlad's quality wins? Byrd? Haye? Chagaev? Brock?
    Not on the same as Holyfield, Rahman 2, Vitali, Golota, Tyson, Tua, Grant, Briggs, Bruno, Mason.
