It wouldn't surprise ne one bit if it happened, mostly because Sergio is 38 freaken years old and relies a lot on athleticism and reflexes. What happens if he's lost a lot of that since his last fight?

Martinez is going to DESTROY Chavez jr easily. Chavez is a big bullying type fighter that's going to come straight at Martinez, and he's going to eat punches all night. He has no defense, can't box, counter punch and slow feet. The pressure a fighter applies means nothing because he's going to be hitting air. Martinez is a much all around better fighter than this kid. Chavez Senior was a master at breaking you down slowly with pressure, body punches, great boxing skills, excellent defense, and he had a great jab when he wanted to use it. Too many people think this Chavez jr. has the same skills as his father, but he doesn't. I just saw Omar Chavez (brother of Chavez jr) fight Paez, and Paez with movement easily dominated Omar. It's going to be the exact same fight. All chavez's fight the same. They're not boxers. They come with lots of pressure and if you stand there in front of them like punching bags, you're going to get a beat down, but as Pernel Whitaker easily did when he whipped Chavez Sr in their fight (robbery), and he was also a southpaw. The same will be in this fight. Martinez is going to give Chavez jr the beating of his life. Boxers with good movement easily beat Chavez jr. You'll see when tey fight.
