    put it this way,

    he is hyped-just-right. getting as much attention as he should. a great up and coming fighter but he aint the hottest thing in the sport right now. he still has a long way to go.

    He has alot of hype, because HBO is marketing him.

    Although he does look good, not as good as he is made out to be imo, but he will probably improve as he steps up in opposition.

    Hopefully for him this whole eating junk food during camp is just for image, and not something he does seriously as that would show him to have a real attitude problem when it comes to training

    Does he have to be either the real deal - or a hype job.
    Isnt there a middle ground?

    He is no Floyd, thats for sure.

    But that doesnt mean he wont still end up a good fighter.

    Well basically is he the real deal as in a solid figher, who will do big things or a hype job, being overhyped, who will get exposed once he faces better oppostion.

    why is it that people are forcing the thought that Broner lost to de Leon? its crazy.. maybe its just jealousy to fighters who are quite slick and untouchable in the ring like Floyd.. anyway Broner i think is the real deal, but he clearly is below Floyds level in skill and conditioning.

    It's clear that he has something in the way of talent, but not anything close to the kind of hype he gets.

    he's done what he had to do thus far. i've yet to see a thread asking where he ranks on atg lists or anything like that, so he isn't a hypejob, and he won't be the real deal until he beats an A fighter, or pulls together an impressive string of wins against very talented, albeit below A level fighters. the escobedo win is the beginning of an arguement, however.
