Ahhh so he didn't make the weight on purpose, nothing to do with him naturally weighing 150lbs and cutting 20lbs of water with diuretics to make 130lbs, no he did it to get more haters, that was it Don't you have a window to lick? This content is protected
oh I see, you're the "i'm trying to be funny so let me go through the trouble of finding a dumb picture to post, in order to get a few responses with people who agree with me and laughing emoticons" type. awesome. I'll end this debate by saying, difference of opinion.
Bull****. Why is it so hard to accept that some people are just assholes. He aint playing anything, hes just a dick. Same with Floyd.
I rate him highly ability-wise but the weight thing showed a real lack of class. He's not achieved enough yet to be pulling that **** and he's starting to come off like a bad Floyd tribute act. He can be funny though, but that'll wear off if he doesn't show some respect for the game as a whole.
The difference being Mayweather is professional In the ring whereas Broner gets gifts, acts like a clown and blatantly tried to cheat weight while bringing the guy from 135 Not the best way to get fans.
I don't really see Broner as a villain. Being cocky isn't really playing the villain role. He's yet to disrespect any boxers. To me, playing the villain role is a Mayorga.
I don't think it's an act. He comes across as quite a dumb person actually. He's not witty or sharp like say, Muhammad Ali. And I don't find him that funny. He's just arrogant and disrespectful, but that's just the kind of ******* he is - no act. It probably will serve him well in a business sense, but money doesn't buy class or respect if you behave like he does. Just look at Floyd right now; the man Broner worships like a god.
Well here's my solution, if you don't like what he has done stop speaking and writing about him. Ignore him. Personally, I think he is talented as a fighter but no where near Floyd's skills when Floyd was that young fighting at thoew weights. He knows it will be hard as a black fighter to sell tickets, so why not copycat Floyd.
Yep, Broner hasn't even done a lot in his career thus far to be getting so much hate and time on these boards. But it looks like his career has shot up by 60 percent since the weekend. Al Haymon is a genius.
