A certain ESB poster mentioned that it's ok for boxers to do this if it's just a tune-up fight and if the boxer wants to be comfortable.

So is it justifiable to ignore the contracted weight given the circumstance mentioned by the quoted poster?

No, and this is one of the many things that is wrong with boxing. Money matters more than the sport.

No its not ..Its disrespectful to the sport and the opponent that has also put in the hard work as well. I understand that he will out grow the weight class but still people should act professional .

No it isn't, otherwise why bother with weight classes. Broner took the **** . When Castillo did it he was villified, Broner does the same and gets called a " G " :dead

we all know what the argument started over.

ur delusional ass claiming that Marquez Vs. Floyd would have turned out different with the 2 pound difference.

    No.

They should and need to have 10lb 'rehydration' limit.

    15-18lb's gain is ridiculous.

and it's time for same day weigh in's.

Vote: No, boxers have to be professional enough to honor the weight.
