It is never OK. The poster doesn't know much about contract weights. Some tune up fights or fights that are not for title fights or scheduled for less than 10 rounds may have some flexibility but usually the weight is still explicit. It might not be at the normal weight limit for that division but the fighters still has to be with in a few pounds. To ignore it is dangerous for those involved.

No. An agreement, is an agreement, and even tho u may be fighting a bum tune up fight, the fight is a the most important thing in the world, to the bum.

Which fighter, bobo? Damn you guys need to put a name with the fighter when u yell out random records. If u say 26-3, everyone knows its Khan, since Im starting to make that popular around here. lol Anytime a Khan fan gets out of control, I say his record. When u say 43-0, everyone knows who that belongs to.

That really is old school and not good for the fighter. I think the kid did out grow the division, like rios, he was a big 130lber. My point is he should have been able to tell the other camp they where having issues well be for weigh-in.

Like I also said, there are penalties in place to deal with this and he paid his for his indiscretion . . . don't hate the player hate the game

Sure it is OK. If it wasn't then the fight wouldn't happen. That is why there are penalties and such to make sure it is OK. Going over the weight is as bad as asking for a catch weight. If it wasn't right then there would not have been a fight!

Same day weight ins. No catchweights. Fix Boxing.

I didn't see any of you guys whining when other fighters didn't make weight or asked for catchweights. How many threads calling Rios or Alvarez a big cheater?

why is there always some fool that always has to say something different from the obvious or justify something that's wrong?

..and there's no need for you to respond.

Because the thread is ignorant and I expect a pissant like you to jump in and pile on. I know chumps like you support catch weights, but find flaws in this.

Why don't you disappear like the rest of your brethren. The fraud has been exposed and disposed of.

Give Puga credit. Most *******s have moved on. He has shown he was truly the most pathetic of them all. Not an easy feat.
