really? Rios has pretty much lost all of his fans because of that **** he pulled, Rios gets a TON of hate and it will most likely keep on going throughout the rest of his career and rightly so, and it has nothing to do with his race

Well good luck with that, even though a boycott is an act that doesn't require a petition. you just don't watch.

Forget it. Everyone knows a lot of people don't like Rios but he's just oversensitive toward blacks, because blacks in modern society aren't allowed to be disliked. Society has become hypersensitive with defending blacks because people believe they are due ass kissing after what they went through in the past. Nobody say anything if a black person is classless.

Broner's punishment should be a mandatory fight with Chavez Jr.

    - & no weight limit whatsoever.

    - and a 16' ring.

You realise I frequent these forums right? Rios got nowhere near this over reaction. Who the hell said they would launch a boycott against him? GTFO. The reason he has less fans is because Abril exposed him and was then robbed much more than the weight issue.

I dont even think its strictly about race I think its a culture thing and certain people look down on the kind of culture Broner comes from and replicates - this culture happens to be majority black represented.

Rios was hated on everywhere I went, and his weight draining effected his performance too. Plus everyone knows Rios isn't gonna be anything special anyway so what's the worry? And yes I look down on Broners culture. I don't say **** about Andre Ward.

he got a ton of hate all over the net, and it still continues this day. there was a 400 reply thread when rios missed weight against abril at Bscene. lets not try and act like it went unnoticed when it clearly did not

also there are a lot less latino apologists here than there are of posters who stick up for black fighters. so naturally there will be more heated arguments in here when it comes to a boxer with an urban culture like broner. is what it is

When Rios didn't miss weight we didn't get a bunch of "**** you. Yall haters. Rios still a G" hypersensitivity.
