Jorge Paez - Little crazy mutha****a. Always put on a show in the ring with his mad antics.
Emanuel Augustus - A true showman.
Muhammad Ali - Why is he third in this list? He's not. The numero uno IMO.
Tex Cobb - Some of this guys quotes are hilarious.
Ricardo Mayorga - A madman, he eats the punches :yep

No order there. That's just 5 i'd nominate.

Man there was nothing better than a midweek Granada football special followed by the big fight - you often wouldn't know what they were showing - and it was paez.

I've been reminded of him lately because of all the talk about the new batman film. Remember when he had batman shaved into his hair for the tim burton version in 89 or something like that?

Not in any particular order here, and I'm sure I'll add more later on, but here are two that come to mind.

Chris Eubank. How many black men do you know who dress and talk like the stereotypical upper class Englishman? He dresses and talks the way he wants and doesn't give a **** what people think. I like that. In this day and age it has become very cool to ridicule these type of people who dress and talk the way Eubank does. It's all about "swag". This generation has no hope. They are socially ******ed. "brush my hair one time". **** off. Chris Eubank is a good talker. When good talkers talk, people listen. Why is he a good talker? His voice? No, **** the voice and the accent. It's not important. LISTEN to what the man is saying? His insight is very good. He tells you something you didn't know before, instead of busting out the cliches like most ex boxers. "Oh yeah Amir Khan's got speed and power". The number of so called experts who have said some bull**** like that:patsch Firstly, he has no power. Secondly, it's not great insight. Tell us something deeper than that, like Eubank does. The reason Eubank is interesting is because he's pasionate about what he's saying. He answers questions properly. He thinks about them. He doesn't have a media expert telling him what to say. He genuinely enjoys a good conversation. That's why his listeners enjoy him also.

    "I guarantee, he will fail"

He said that about James De Gale. So far he's been proved right. So far, De Gale has failed to live up to the hype. Chris Eubank has been there, done it, and he is a clever man.

"Respect is not when people give you gifts. Respect is when people come up to you and go "you're a geezer, you're a geezer"

^ Young fighters should take note of that. The hangers on will be gone. The leeches will disappear when you have nothing. Will you have respect

    Mike Tyson.

People say "you know what. Mike Tyson is actually a very intelligent man these days". Mike Tyson has ALWAYS been an intelligent man. Always been articulate. He was never the uneducated, thug he was portrayed as. He had issues, no question about that, but he's always been a good talker. Watch his prison interview with Larry King. Then tell me he wasn't intelligent. Tell me he wasn't interesting to listen to.

All I'm hearing from the idiots is "broner a G". Listen. Mike Tyson was called the "baddest man on the planet". How do you get more G than that? and yet, this "baddest man on the planet" had ten times as much charisma as Floyd and Broner, who come across as a male bimbos. Thick as pig****. All style and no substance. So if the toughest man on the planet can be intelligent, why are we now celebrating mediocrity when it comes to character.

Watch Mike Tyson on the talk show with Ali and Leonard. He's on top form. He's the type of guy that can socialise with anyone. That's what characters do. They adapt.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMfZ86oUcSI[/ame]

^ Listen to Mike tell that story. Everyone is interested. THAT's character, not fake bravado or corny ass lines.

"Brush my hair one time". **** off. I become angry when kids mistake that for personality. Floyd and Broner are about as insincere and fake as you can be.

It's not about liking someone either. Mike Tyson and Chris Eubank, I don't know if I would enjoy meeting them and having a pint with them. Maybe we are too different, but I can at least say they are interesting.

I went off into a rant. Apologies.
