So what do the Broner nut huggers have to say about him missing weight?

Did you miss all the twinkies, sundaes, hot dogs he was tweeting? Or what do I know, sundaes don't make you miss the weight.

How about the shape he was in, look drained to you? Compare with Rios pics. Did Rios refuse to shed any more weight, then miss the next day weighin by 3 lbs?

So Rios should have skipped the ordeal and came in at 139, right? You can't want him drained, that'd be inhumane, right? And why shouldn't Chavez weigh in at 165 vs Sergio, I mean he's struggling to make weight. And screw Gamache the crybaby.

His attitude is the issue. What I mean by that is that even before this fight, people didn't like the guy. When you don't like someone, pretty much everything they do is magnified. Morales was 2.5 lbs overweight against Garcia. He didn't look drained at all, was completey unapologetic, and immediately drank a bunch of Gatorade after the weigh in. Did he get as much heat as Broner is? The answer is no, and the reason for that is because he is well liked. So let's the nonsense. People don't like Broner, and anything he does will be made out to be worse than it is. That's just the way it is. He needs to be more deligent a out making the weight from now own. However, I'm not going to sit here and crucify him when I know this is something happens in boxing from time to time.

Broner was tweeting things that people asked him that he likes to eat. That doesn't neccesarily mean that he was eating a bunch of that stuff during camp. You guys act like he didn't try to lose the weight at all. You don't go from 133 to 147 in one day if you haven't been cutting a lot of weight. There's a point where your body can't take it anymore. If you want to stop this from happening, then you need controls in place that don't simply put all the onest on the fighter.

figured everyone would love me for it? good try, but the only reason I typed that was for the truth. considering you are getting mad about it, only suggests that you are one of the people I am talking about. how is that working out for you?

That may be for some but I don't fall into the category you've described.
I gave Morales **** for his actions and sure as damn it the Mexicans were just as defensive as Broner fans.
I had no feelings about Broner one way or the other and enjoyed watching him develop, even said it was a good move from Burns to avoid him.

I tried to say something about Morales missing weight against Garcia and the responses I got from most posters around here was: "Morales is a God, he can do whatever he wants." I didn't see it that way, even though I like Morales, I still thought he was a dick for not trying to lose the weight for his fight against Garcia...just the same way I think Broner's a dick for what he did. I didn't like or hate the kid, but he definitely didn't do himself any favors with me after the **** he pulled this weekend.

Sure, whatever. Maybe he held off during the camp, but why should he, after all sundaes don't make you miss the weight.

Anyway the commission is to blame for not providing nutritional cheatsheets, they should have just waived the weighin. Like that time USADA threw out the samples for not having the time to educate the fighters on banned substances.

Morales had gone through surgery, had to recover from surgery, and then make weight. Pretty dam good reason as in why he missed it compared to Broners twinkies....

They will do what nuthuggers do. . .they will downplay it, bring examples of other people who have done the same, say "it's no big deal", etc.

I'm not making assumptions. The ******* was TWEETING PICTURES OF THE JUNK FOOD he was stuffing in his bitchy little mouth. And **** you for accusing me of not caring about the health of boxers. It's ****wits like you who keep boxing on the fringe by giving a pass to all the things that rob the sport of its legitimacy.
