Is Broner quickly headed to mainstream status? His fake marriage proposal stunt landed him on ESPN's Around The Horn and PTI. This guy is becoming must see T.V, although not always for the right reasons. A couple of years ago after the De Leon fight, Dan Rafael said he shouldn't be allowed back on HBO again. That's quite a turnaround for Broner.

Let's see a Broner/Rios fight, that would be a great buildup. They could name the fight, Worth The Weight or some other play on either guy being able to make weight.

Nah, he's only making some what of a buzz to hardcore boxing fans, mostly because he tries to be floyd mayweather so badly. i have talked to casual boxing fans and they don't have a clue who he is.

He's definitely positioning himself as the next face of boxing, which honestly it needs to proceed without Manny or Floyd. I'll say this, I dislike Broner but he does entertain me and I'm assuming people like me want to watch Broner to see him lose (like they might for Floyd), and I understand that's what he's going for... he's doing a great job getting his name out there, even if it rubs people the wrong way. Broner, however, may end up MORE popular than Floyd because of his power. He knocks people out, even though his style is similar to Mayweathers. I dislike Broner, but am grateful he exists. Weird, huh?

Floyd had power at the weight also. Before you give Broner props on his power lets wait to see if he can bring it up with him in weight. Power @ 140 would be impressive, but you have to wait and see.

Didn't know he made it on ESPN, that's pretty big. He clearly is trying to though, from having pops brush his hair to Waka Flaka come out with him to the fake marriage proposal. He's guaranteeing people talk about him and that's the first step to becoming mainstream.

Broner still has that charm that Floyd lacked. Whether this stayes the case, it's working for him. I can easily excuse a youngster acting this way then a grown man. My only hopes are Broner doesn't pull that weight stunt again, and doesn't become a typical wrestling character. I think he's better then that.

He's got more wit and on camera presence than Floyd, tho. He knows what to say and he gets everyone listening whether he's clownin or not. I'm on the bandwagon, or should I say, the Broner G Wagon! He's a mix of Prince Naz, Floyd Mayweather, and Black Kings of Comedy tour. He's got alot to prove tho, I ain't putting him on a pedestal yet, but the potential is there.

he is getting crazy views on worldstar. By the time he is 24 his core fan base will be solid and all he will need is that one big fight to take him to the top.
