For those of you that remember, Morales' original oponent was Matthysse. He mysteriously dropped out of the fight long before the scheduled date. I don't recall there being an official statement. For those of you that are now familiar with Mattysse's abilities and how Morales fought that night, how do you think that fight may have resulted? I still think Matthysse would've won and he could've been champion. Discuss. :bbb

He looked God in the eye and immediately shat himself. I met Morales at the Boxing hall of fame last year, we took a picture and he put his hand on my back. In the next few months I threw my back out almost a dozen times. True story. God is real.
Matthyse was the one pulled out. I think he was sick or something, he just wasn't 100%. He recently stated in an interview that he pulled out because he was sick or injured but didn't want to go through with it because he didn't want to just come for a pay day. He said its difficult for Argentinans to get noticed so he didn't want to look bad. Good thing he did because now many people know who he is. Either way, with all due respect to Morales, I think he would have KO'd him. But he could've also silenced many as he recently has.
This Garcia was announced as Morales' first defense, scheduled for late January. Shocking announcement and I promptly purchased tickets the minute they went on sale. Fight was postponed due to Morales sickness until March
Ajose Olusegan should have fought Morales instead of Garcia or Mattysse. That guy has been shafted so often.
