    You can stop guessing now.

For the record, it was announced Friday afternoon, 29 hours before the fight, that Gamache weighed 140-1/4, and Gatti 141. Team Gamache, which included advisor Johnny Bos and trainer Jimmy Glenn, contended that the scale never centered on 141 pounds, a single, and permissible, pound over the contracted weight limit. Bos saw that the scale didn't level out, and thundered at commissioner Tony Russo. Bos was already concerned when commissioner Bob Duffy, who usually oversaw weigh ins, was shunted aside, and Russo, who lacked experience with the procedure, grabbed the reins. The weigh in for Oscar De La Hoya, the next night's headliner, was in dispute, as opponent Derrell Coley's cornerman Leonard Langley felt that De La Hoya didn't make weight, but was given a pass by Russo, right before Gatti hopped on the scale.

"Weigh Gatti again," Bos yelled to Russo after not seeing the scale settle at 141 pounds, or under.

Russo barked back at Bos: "Shut up!"

'"Joey, the verdict came in," Sullivan said, and drew a deep breath. "It's a mixed verdict. The judge ruled that the state was negligent. He said that what happened at the weigh in was akin to a 'fast shuffle.' He said that commission members were lax in the performance of their duties'

    :yep

    Lawsuit

--He went on to hold that although they were negligent, he would not be awarding Joey Gamache monetary damages because it was unclear if the negligence and excess weight of Gatti was a substantial contributing factor in the overly lop-sided knockout and subsequent injuries sustained by Joey Gamache.--

    Weight don't mean ****!

That's not my point at all. Never did I say it was. Someone said Gatti made the weight when he in fact didn't. Broner should have made the weight and he didn't. He was stripped and fined. Those are the rules. I'm not sure what you're looking for. Do you want him banned, do you want everyone to hate him? Honestly, what are you looking for here?

Thank you for proving that this whole thing was the NYSAC fault and Gatti's.

I'm sure Gatti wasn't twitpic'ing 7/11 hot dogs or twix bars or Twinkes.

Broner: "Candy bars and ice cream has nothing to do with growing out of a weight class"..... they sure as **** don't help either you moron.:patsch:lol:

So Gatti doesn't make weight, the courts confirm this, the difference in fight night weight is greater than the rules allow, and Gamache ends up getting brutally KO'd and brain damaged. Your response is to blame team Gamache. That makes sense.
