Alright guys, how do you see the matches between the top middleweights pitted against each other.:think

Martinez. GGG, Geale. Pirog, Sturm, Chavez

    My guesses.

    Martinez wins all.
    GGG beats Geale.
Pirog beats GGG, Chavez and Geale.
Sturm beats GGG (I know:D), Pirog, Geale and Chavez.
    Chavez beats GGG and Geale.

I see Pirog v Sturm as a tough call.

Just my opinion and they are open to change.

Should get me through the day this discussion.

    Thanks:good

If you don't mind,I'll leave Martinez out to keep it a bit more interesting.
3G beats Geale,Sturm and I have a sneaking suspicion he could shock Pirog.
Pirog can stun Chavez if he's in the right frame of mind but I worry he's a once or twice in a lifetime type guy who has the ability to beat anyone on the right night.
Sturm can beat Geale and that's about it although Pirog is unpredictable.
Chavez can probably get by them all although as I said,Pirog on the right night beats em all.
3G has the abilty and power to be the most exciting fighter in the division IMO,but I don't mean that he can beat everyone, just great box office.
If Geale caught Sturm on another bad night he might do something but I feel he's the weak link of the group.
    Good thread.:good

this is about right, i'd probably put Barker above Geale to be honest, perhaps Macklin too

Martinez beats them all (at this point)

GGG beats them all, with the exception of Martinez

I have Pirog as the 3rd guy, i think he has a chance against everyone in the division, but i will favour Martinez and GGG over him

Chavez has alot of fights, he has struggled in some of his fights but he has also looked very good in some.. Facts are that he is an unbeaten champion.

Sturm is running scared of GGG, despite that he is a good fighter, nothing exeptional about him but he can get the job done.. His lack of firepower and possibly being past his prime is why he will lose to Martinez, GGG, Pirog and Chavez

Geale catapulted himself into the MW scene by beating Sylvester, it has then been followed up by two sound victories, like Sturm he isn't a flashy boxer but he has good fundamentals and will beat many MWs, just not the top where he will lack intangibles like firepower..

I feel Sturm is being seriously underrated here. Solid defence, decent inside game very special jab.

Think Sturm and Pirog could as Kell Brook says 'Do' Golovkin.

I have a feeling 3G might find himself on the outside looking in the better he performs.Too risky.

Not slating Sturm, just think he's at the back end now.Don't know if it's motivation or what but I'd have had him doing better a few years ago.:good

I think Martinez and GGG beat pretty much most or all of the others including Pirog. H2H, GGG and Martinez will be a good match up if it gets made.

I would agree, 3G And Jr would be a pick'em fight. JCC is just so damn big (and the juice don't hurt:D)
