I pretty much agree here. Haye is just another challenger. Who is he to call out Vitali, and say when the fight will be?

LOL. Somebody like Haye dictating when Vitali fights? Maybe if he didn't bust out the toe after getting schooled by Wladimir.

BUT, like I said, I have no idea what actually happened behind the scenes (which is how boxing works), and who was being more fair, and reasonable.

It just seems like if Haye refused Vitali because he didn't like his terms, it would be more his fault.

Anyone know what Charr is getting for Vitali?:think

I think if Booth approached Charr with 100K and had a contract in hand for a fight with him for December, Charr would back out the Vitali fight, giving Vitali no ultimatum but to fight Haye.

In the end, Vitali will make more $$$$, Haye will be 100K lighter, but still make more money than if he never gets Vitali, and Charr, well, he'll be singing the praises to Allah.

Except Vitali would sue Charr for breach of contract. Also, Charr believes he will beat Vitali and won't forego his chance

    A shot?

Tell me since when in boxing did losing to the champion rule you out of fighting the number two guy in the division? Or are the rules different if the number 1 and 2 guys are related?

Haye just fought the guy the number 2 guy just beat and he beat him in more impressive fashion - in any other division in boxing people would be calling to see that fight. But because two of the fighters are brothers, and because one likes to talk trash to promote a fight apparently things operate differently, and instead the number two guy should fight someone that no one has ever heard of and has never beat a single fighter of note.

I think Vitali realizes he's made a mistake taking the highest ranked WBC fighter to accept. I don't personally think he even cares so much about that title and would probably drop it and the whole Charr affair if he could legally get aorund that fight.

He wants Haye and he wants to lead his country forward. No better publicity to boost his popularity among the casual voter than to bring Haye to Kiev and KHTFO.

This would be a win/win for Vito, Charr, and Haye....except for Haye getting starched.

Haye made the call to fight Chisora, which involved declining an offer to fight Vitali.

Vitali then makes a fight with Charr.

So you expect Vitali to cancel his fight with Charr, so as he can face Haye instead?

Haye, who only just returned to the ring, after getting his ass handed to him 12 months ago and falsely retiring?

    Get real.

By the way, Vitali is the WBC Champ, Haye's not even ranked.

    So yeh. Get real.

You talk so much nonsense it's unreal. If Vitali wanted to get out of the Charr fight he would, just like Wlad got out of the Chisora fight twice.

If Vitali's in his best shape and doesn't KO Charr he should retire. I'm his biggest fan but reality is his last fight was disappointing by his standards and Haye is a serious threat.

The point of this thread is to show that what Vitali said about offering Haye a contract for the Sept fight is infact the truth which has been proved. Now Haye fans expect Vitali to drop his plans to fit with Hayes current plans and had the nerve to call Vitali a ducker as Haye put in one good performance and Vitali is looking like he is on the slide.
