Its also the fact that Toney probably would have survived with Adamek that makes it so dangerous. He would have taken a sustained beating over 10-12 rounds.

 

Walker has never lost to a journeyman. Beating Clevel journeymen makes you a Blevel gatekeeper in the least.

Id take Toney to beat Walker 5 yrs ago, but Toney dont even have a punchers chance vs Adamek.

At least Walker is better than journeyman Nagy Aguilera, and Adamek, obviously wants no part fo Wlad. Walker helps him get a step closer to Potvetkin.:good

 

Comparing Jones to Toney with regards to their defensive skills makes little sense at this point of their careers. Adamek would have brutally slaughtered Jones, due to Roy's inability to absorb punches especially at hw.

I think that every great fighter deserves a very last shot at glory. A clear cut defeat on points would have ended James' career in a humble manner. Also, this would have helped him to get out of debth. Obese Toney now has to fight club fighters to earn a living which is much more dangerous for his health IMO.

 

He had a last shot at Lebedev and was easily handled.

What would getting beat up be Adamek do for his legacy?

 

walker's learned not to get knocked out and he's refined his game to an extent so he's dangerous with that size and power. much, much better fight than adamek vs hall of famer yet nonetheless, fat, over the hill james toney. this is a fight between warriors and one i'm looking forward to. jennings is fighting on the undercard and I hope it's against someone who will come to fight. they may as well throw MAGO on that card too!!!!

 

Walker is a dangerous fight for Adamek. Surprised he's taking a fight with this level of risk, but not much reward should he win.

This actually could turn into a PPV worthy fight. Adamek might not have enough of a punch to break Walker's glassy chin, and Walker's incredible offense, and very good speed might make for a very entertaining scrap.
